Old Fart Birthday Card

Start by cutting out one of the Slimline Clouds Die.  Yes I said slimline.  Don’t overlook the versatility of slimline dies and stamps.  You can use parts of it for your A2 cards.  So you are getting a 2 for 1 deal.  In this case I used the Slimline Clouds Die and cut it down to the size I needed.  It also comes with some extra clouds….it’s just a good set.  Make sure you look at all the slimline dies and stamps….very versatile.  I added two strips of designer paper on the sides to make the Slimline Clouds stand out (3/4″ x 5 1/2″) and to keep the cloud background white.

Now how adorable is this little guy.  I’ve used him for quite a few of my cards and people LOVE it.  The sentiment and the buzzards come from the Old Buzzard Stamp and Die Combo.  I colored him with Copic Markers and used my Copic Texture Kit to give some texture to the throat.  Do you have one of our Copic Texture Kits?  It’s a must have if you use Copic Markers.
