The Rooster is in the Hen House

This cute little rooster is definitely in the hen house but he’s not feeling so well on this card – hence the Get Well Soon card.  I love how he came out using both the Rooster Birthday Stamp Set and the Slimline Chicken Coop Die Set.  This Slimline Chicken Coop Die Set is FILLED with dies that can be used with so many cards, not just rooster cards.  So stinken cute!

I colored him with Copic Markers and fussy cut him out.  I love our 6″ Haberdashery Cutting Scissors, they are perfect for that detail cutting.  Set him aside for now.

Y02, Y35, YR04, YR07, YR15, YR24, YR27, R27

B34, B97, B99, E79, C5, 0

Cut out a piece of brown card stock that measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and adhere that to the A2 White Card Base using the EZ Grand Tape Dispenser.

I cut out the chicken nests and the shelves they are sitting on from the Slimline Chicken Coop Die Set.  Color them with your Copic Markers.  Hold the large shelf, the medium size nest and one of the eggs to put on the outside of the coop fence.  Take the smaller shelf and the smaller nest along with one of the eggs and glue the egg to  upper portion of the card base then pop up the nest on top of that.  

Cut out the Chicken Coop fence from Silver Mirror Paper using the Slimline Chicken Coop Die Set.  I popped it up with the 3d White Foam Strips.  Now add the larger shelf, the medium nest and the other egg using the Precision Glue Press and Deluxe Adhesive.

Cut out the Get Well Soon Die Set from two colors and pop them onto your card using the 3d White Foam Strips.

Glue the little rooster to the chicken coop frame using the Precision Glue Press and Deluxe Adhesive.  I lined his feet up with the bottom of the A2 White Card Base.

Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
