Vintage Vellum Softens Your Card

Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Wouldn’t you LOVE to get a card like this?!

On the left is the Vintage Spring Quick Card, the one on the right is how I softened the background using Vellum Card Stock…GORGEOUS!
- Cut out the Elegant Circles Die centering the picture you want to highlight from the Vintage Spring Quick Card.
- Cut a piece of vellum 4 1/4″ x 6″. You want the vellum to be a bit longer than your quick card so you can wrap it around. Remember you don’t want to put adhesive where it will show on the vellum. So use your EZ Grand Tape Dispenser and put adhesive on the upper part of the 6″ side and the lower part of the 6″ side and wrap it around the Vintage Spring Quick Card (covering the hole).
- Add this piece to your card base using the EZ Grand Tape Dispenser.
- Add White Foam Strips round the Elegant Circles Die that you cut out and adhere that over the vellum lining up the cut out die and the hole in the quick card.
- Use your Precision Glue Press and add the cutout circle back into the cutout Elegant Circles MATCHING UP THE DESIGN! This is important. Make sure you line up the flowers the ladder, the eggs, etc.
Do you see how they are all lined up. The circle frame is raised and it is SOOOOOO pretty.
Everything lines up and you can see the vellum through the decorative holes.
Stamp saying from the Blooming Sentiment set using Stampwheel – On Sale Today and Black Hybrid Ink. Cut that out and layer it onto your Silver Mirror Paper.
Add some Mini Pearls to give it that touch of elegance.
The Blooming Sentiment set has so many beautiful sayings for everyday use.
The quick cards come with two sheets of sentiments. Just cut and add to your card.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
