I used a Linen Card Base and also a linen top layer.  Take that top layer piece of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ Linen Card Stock and cut out the All-In-One- Hexagon Die.  You will use all three pieces that are cut out.  For this card I used the border on the side of the card instead of the bottom of the card.  Very versatile.  This top outside piece can be added to the card now using the White 3D Craft Foam Tape and White 3D Foam Strips.  The middle octagon can also be added using the Thin White Foam Squares creating a kaleidoscope look.  

Let’s work on the large inside octagon now.  I just LOVE using our Rub-On Transfers.  We have so many different ones in the shop, make sure you check them all out.  They are so much fun and SOOOOOOOO gorgeous!  Easy Peasy and fun!  Take the largest octagon and transfer the Petite Florals Rub-on.  You can use the popsicle stick that comes with it or you can use the Ranger Craft Scraper we have in the shop.  I can’t stress how easy and beautiful these rub-on’s are.  Now using the Precision Glue Press, add this piece to the inside of the other octagons creating this layered look.  It’s gorgeous.

Petite Florals Rub-On Transfers

Let’s add the foliage and flowers to the outside.  I used the Just Leaves Die Set for the foliage and the Phlox Blooms and Leaves for the flowers.  Adhere them to the card using a mixture of Regular White Foam Squares, Thin White Foam Squares and the Precision Glue Press.  This will give you some really pretty layering.  I colored the flowers with the BG0000 and B21 Copic Markers .

I added some of the Pearls to the center of the flowers.  Add one of our Happy Birthday Foil Greetings using the White 3D Foam Strips.  On both sides of the sentiment add a few more Pearls for balance.

The dragon fly comes from another beautiful new die in the shop called Garden Beauties.  It has both butterflies and dragonflies.  I cut the wings from Vellum and the body from black card stock. Put him all together and add him to the card using the Precision Glue Press.  Add a little color using the BG0000 and B21 Copic Markers .

Take your  Retractable Pick and lift the layers up to give them a distinct kaleidoscope look.  I love my Retractable Pick because you can push out and pull in the pick as you need.  It’s fantastic.

Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
