For today…Are you someone that loves Gnomes?  Today’s card  from Teaspoon of Fun is all about the Gnome that meets the Lucky Leprechaun.   He’s so stinken cute!  So we’ve added another gnome to our shop.

This cute little card started with the Lucky Leprechauns and the Quilted Rainbow Inlaid Die.

I colored this little cutie with Copic Sketch Markers.

I used these colors…

hat, pants, shoes, socks – YG01, YG17, G28, G85, BG78, YR18

Shamrocks – YG01, YG03, YG13

Skin – E00, E11, E33, E29

Beard – YR14, YR04, E37

Eyes – B000

Cheeks – RV11

I also used Metallic Gel Pens on his hat buckle and band (copper pen) and the band on the hat (the black pen).  I also used Wink of Stella on the shamrocks.

The Quilted Rainbow Inlaid Die is a brand new item in our Teaspoon of Fun Shop.

Let’s take a look to show you how I got the color for this background.

I used our Distress Oxide Ink Refills to get the Ombre look for the background.  I used…

Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss and Rustic Wilderness

Directions:

1. Cut a piece of white cardstock 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. 
2. Put a small amount of each color of the Distress Oxide Ink Refill into the Paw Palette . 
3. Use the Silicone Dispenser and add some water to the palette.
4. Dip your 1″ Square Watercolor Brush into the water first then into the Crushed Olive refill and wash it onto the top 1/4″ of the card stock.
5. Without cleaning your brush, dip the same brush into the water and then into the Peeled Paint refill and wash that onto the next quarter of the card stock (you have just completed the first half of the cardstock).
6. Repeat this for the Forest Moss then Rustic Wilderness.  
7. Let these colors dry completely.  
8. Now run this colorful Ombre layer through the Quilted Rainbow Inlaid Die.  OH MY GOSH ….it’s gorgeous!
9. Add that layer to the card base using the EZ Grand Dispenser.

1.  Cut the Scalloped Stitched Nesting Oval out of our Lemon Lime Sparkle Paper.
2. Cut out the 1 1/2″ Fancy Circles from the oval you just cut out (I always like to save paper so I cut it and layered the leprechaun over the top of the cutout).  Save this circle, we’ll use it later.
3. Adhere the leprechaun oval to the glitter oval with Deluxe Adhesive.
4. Adhere these two layers to the card base with our  White Foam Squares
5. Stamp the words from the set with the Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink Pad and cut that out with the Stitched Nesting Circles
6. Layer that with the 1 1/2″ Fancy Circles you cut out earlier.
7. Adhere these two layers to the card base with our  White Foam Squares
8. I used our Bright Fairy Jewels to jazz up the background layer.  
9. And the final element is the Crystal Glaze on his nose!

He’s so stinken cute!  You may also want to get the Retractable Pick and the Stampendable .

I used both of these for the card creation.
