This video will show you how to create these amazing accordion cards.
The accordion card is very easy to make. Here are the cutting measurements…
(3) layers cut at 3 3/4″ x 6″ and scored at 3 1/2″
Top layer the fold is to the left; middle layer the fold is to the right; and the third layer the fold is to the left
(1) layer (base layer) cut at 3 1/2″ x 6″
This die set can be used for ANY size card. I wanted to highlight the Mini Slimline Card Base. Remember to pick up your Mini Slimline Envelopes to finish off your masterpiece!
The sparkle on the star came from our brand new Glitter Gel Pens.
I used our Sandcastle Sparkle Paper to cut out the square from the Looking Glass Circle and Square Die Set
The is the second layer cut from the Sandcastle Sparkle Paper.
And the third layer was cut from our Marshmallow Fluff card stock and colored with our Copic Markers. I used … Tree Trunks – E33, E37 and Tree Tops – YG00, YG67, G28, BG78
And for the last layer I used the Brilliance Moonlight White Refill with the Flower Palette or Paw Palette and added water from the Silicone Dispenser to dilute it. Pick up your #6 Watercolor Brush and lightly tap on the brush to splatter some stars on the back layer of your card. I did use my Alignment Tool A2 & A6 Stencil to mask of the square where I wanted the splatters to hit the card stock.
