Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a really cool and unique “build a card”.  I used a new die set in the shop that allows you to build your tree to any size and if you want, you can decorate it with garland or candles or bows or lights and more.  Let’s  take a look at what I picked for you today…

The Decorate a Tree Die Set  is filled with things to decorate your tree.  And you can build your tree from a small tree to a large tree.  It’s amazing how many pieces you can mix and match!  I cut mine from Woodsy Plaid 6 x 6 Paper Pack.  You can also use this for masculine cards throughout the year.  Do you have that outdoorsman who loves nature!  awwww this set is definitely for you!

See how I decorated the tree with garland for this one using our Red Mirror Paper or Christmas Mirror Variety Pack.  I also used our very popular Trellis Cover Plate Slimline.  It just made this card pop!  I love it. 

Remember you can always use our slimline collection for A2 (regular sized cards as well).  For the card below, I just cut the Trellis Cover Plate Slimline down to fit a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card.  It was a very nice layer.

Have a Joyful Christmas is another die from our single die collection.  It’s gorgeous.  I cut two layers out from white card stock and one from our Red Mirror Paper or Christmas Mirror Variety Pack.  I always use our Deluxe Adhesive to glue them down.  Look at the adorable tree trunk with all the details etched in it.  There is also a pot to put the tree in if you’d like!  SOOOOOO many options.  So what did you think?

Then the next thing I wanted to show you is how I stand my cards up to display and to photograph.  This one is not from the refrigerator, it’s used by florists.  It’s called a frog, I’m not sure why, it doesn’t look a thing like a frog but that’s what they call it.  Click here to check it out.

Building a Christmas Tree Card
