Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Tulip Pattern Stencil/Die Combo
Double Scalloped Stitched Frames
Colors I used:
Tattered Rose, Festive Berries, Bundled Sage, Forest Moss
The highlight of this card is the background. It’s stenciled with Tulip Pattern Stencil/Die Combo. It IS gorgeous. I detailed the “how to” below. I paired it with the Magnolia Floral Stem using the exact same colors that I used with the Tulip Pattern Stencil/Die Combo. For both the background and the flower, I usedDistress Oxide Ink and Blending Brushes. The colors I used were Tattered Rose, Festive Berries, Bundled Sage, Forest Moss. SOOOOOO beautiful! Put the tulip together using our Precision Glue Press (this is a MUST have item). If you don’t have yours, put it on your wish list here at Teaspoon Of Fun so you will be notified as soon as they come in….they sell out FAST!) Next attach the tulip using our Regular White Foam Squares
For the frame I chose to use our NEW Double Scalloped Stitched Frames. On the back of the two frames I used White Foam Strips to adhere the two together and to attach them to the stenciled background.
I used the Modest Greetings 2 and Hot Foiling Machine to create the greeting for this card. I just LOVE hot foiling. I glammed it up using our Mini Pearls using our Retractable Pick to pick them up. Adhere the layers to the base card using our EZ Grand Tape Runner.
First get out your STAMPWHEEL with the sticky mat in it.
I like to use the Low Tack Sticky Mat for stenciling so switch it out.
Put the first stencil on and stick it to the mat. Burnish Tattered Rose on your card stock.
This is what it looks like when you remove the first stencil.
Put the next stencil on and burnish with Festive Berrues,
Put the third stencil on and burnish with Bundled Sage.
The last stencil will be burnished with Forest Moss. I do put little marks in the holes in each corner of the stencil so all four stencils line up perfect.
Loving the pop of color.
For this card I didn’t use it but the combo comes with a matching die!!!
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
