This is such a beautiful card. So soft. I adhered a soft lavender 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of card stock to the card base. Next take a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ white piece of card stock and put it in your StampWheel using the Low Tack Sticky Mat. If you don’t have the StampWheel you could use the Low Tack Sticky Mat all by itself. Add your white card stock to the mat. Use the stencils from the Sweet Jasmine Combo along with your Distress Oxide Ink Pads and Blending Brushes to get your colors onto the paper. I ALWAYS do at least 5 to 10 cards at a time. I put all the first layers on all 10 cards, then put the 2nd color on all 10 cards and so on. It is working smarter not harder!
Now take your Fringed Scalloped Frame Set and cut the largest frame (I do these one at a time so I know I get them straight but you could certainly do them all at once.) Put that cutout back in the machine with the next smallest frame and cut it out and repeat with the third framing die. Here comes the fun part. Put it back together like a puzzle. The largest frame is put on the card base with the EZ Grand Tape Runner; the next layer is put on with the White Thin Foam Squares; and the top layer is put on with White Crafty Foam Tape. Do you see how important it is to have one of each of our adhesives in your stamp room. You will always have them at the ready! This will gradually raise your layers for that amazing technique!
Next take one of your White Happy Birthday Foil Greeting Tabs and brush on one of the coordinating flower colors so it matches your piece of art. This just brings it all together. Adhere this to the top piece using the Precision Glue Press.
To finish it off, add a few of our Clear Self-Adhesive Fairy Drops for the look of dew on the flowers.
Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
