Patchwork Pathways Die Set

Quilting On My Homemade Cards

1.  Take your Striped Diamond 3D Embossing Folder and mist it with the Mini Mister.  It’s very important to do this step with any 3D embossing folder or you risk your paper tearing.  By spritzing it first, it will MOLD your paper into the folder instead of cracking!!!!  SO IMPORTANT! 
2. Now run it through your die cutting machine.
3. Adhere this to your A2 White Card Base using the Precision Glue Press and Deluxe Adhesive.
4. Turn your card over and use your Smooshy to smooth down the embossed layer.  It WORKS…it REALLY works!

5.  Using the Patchwork Pathways Die Set,  decide how many quilt squares you need and cut them out.  Use a variety of colors.  It’s fun designing your own quilt.  Have fun.  

6.  Glue them together using the Precision Glue Press and Deluxe Adhesive.

You can mix and match the pieces to make your own unique quilt.

7.  Here is my center design.  Pop these up using the White 3D Foam Strips, White Micro Foam Squares and Regular White Foam Squares.

8.  Add one of our MANY MANY foil greeting tabs.  I used the Happy Birthday White Foil Greetings Tabs but we also have white, black, circles, strips and a multitude of sentiments.  Christmas, Thank You, Birthday and more.  Check them all out by searching “Foil Tabs” in our store.

9.  Take your Copic Marker – YR00 and run it across the foil tab to coordinate your card with the sentiment.  I love how you can do this and bring it all together.

10. I adhered this to the card using the Precision Glue Press and Deluxe Adhesive.

11. To finish it off, I added a beautiful pearl from the Pearls  5 mm Self-Adhesive.

Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.

This was my first card using the Patchwork Pathways Die Set.  You can see how different it is filling the whole card.  Oh my head is spinning with ideas!  I LOVE IT!  Let’s get quilting …. on your card!
