Head on over to Teaspoon of Fun for all your paper crafting needs
and share this site with your friends!
Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Double Scalloped Stitched Frames
Let’s start with the frame die. I used our BRAND NEW Double Scalloped Stitched Frames. I love these frames. They are a little different than our other nesting dies. Each one is paired up in sets of two. I glued one down with our Precision Glue Press and the larger one I used our 3D White Foam Strips to attach it so it has some depth! I love the look of this.
I used the largest of the three sets. It cuts TWO frames. Take a look at the picture above. They nest in beautifully. They can also be used alone. It’s very different than anything we have in the shop. They are just beautiful and we are very happy to have them available to you to purchase.
The stamp I used is called Peek-a-Bunny. It’s a single wood mounted stamp that is so adorable. How about using it for Easter, Spring, new baby … the ideas are endless. When you started stamping, did you start with wood mounted stamps?! I love them! Red rubber wood mounted….they are old school and the best! I colored these little guys with watercolor. I’ve done them with Copics before and also pencils. What’s your favorite way to color? Watercoloring is fast and easy! Here is what I used:
I used one of our new shadow dies called Happy Spring. I only used one piece from the die making it more versatile. Use all of it or any part of it. We have so many new shadow dies in the shop. Check them out.
To get the background so perfect I used our new Background Basics Stencils. These are amazing and I’m so happy they came out with these. I used my Sticky Mat and attached my card stock. Then I attached the stencil that fit my picture (you can also use the reverse stencil). Then I water colored the background using my 1″ Flat Watercolor Brush.
This is the way it looks when I lifted the stencil.
Look at all the stencils you get in the set….oh the posibilities!!!!
Amazing!!!!!
Add one of our amazing envelopes and you have a package of love to send!
Here’s an example of the Happy Spring using all the pieces….
