Head on over to Teaspoon of Fun for all your paper crafting needs and share this site with your friends!
3D Anemone Drift Embossing Folder and cutting Dies
Rectangle Dot Border Hot Foil Plate
Go Press and Foil Machine (the Machine I use)
Colors I used: YR00, Y00, Y02, Y08, Y11, YR12, YR14
YG63, YG67, BG78
I started this card with one of our new 3D folders that also comes with coordinating dies. For this card I used the 3D Anemone Drift Embossing Folder and cutting Dies. We are carrying a suite of different flowers that I will show going forward. This is a beautiful background for this card. When using 3D embossing folders it’s always wise to spritz your card stock first with our Mini Mister, put the card stock in the folder then run it through the die cutting machine. It helps mold the cardstock instead of cracking it. Use our White Crafty Foam Tape to adhere to the card base.
Do you want a new obsession? HOT FOILING!!!! If you haven’t tried it, you need to. It’s an amazing look and so much fun for your cards. I use the Go Press and Foil Machine. Here I used the Rectangle Dot Border Hot Foil Plate with Gold Hot Foil over Vanilla Woodgrain Card Stock. It’s sooooooo pretty! I brushed it with our Hybrid Ink – Beige and a Sponge Dauber. It brings out the beautiful woodgrain design in the cardstock. Use our White Crafty Foam Tape to adhere to the embossed layer.
The sentiment is also new in the shop. I call these types of sentiments “shadow dies”. It has the coordinating background. We have a BUNCH of new ones in the shop and love everyone of them! I used Just a Note Debut Script Die and Gold Mirror Paper for this one. Adhere with our White Micro Foam Squares.
This is one of our newest flowers called Blooming Anemone Die. I colored it with Copic Markers and added sparkle to the middle with our Wink of Stella. Attach it to the card with White Regular Foam Squares.
Here’s another version of the card.
Using the Hybrid Ink – Beige and Sponge Daubers really make the Vanilla Woodgrain Card Stock POP!
Again I say….YOU NEED TO TRY THE HOT FOILING!!! I used the Go Press and Foil Machine with the Rectangle Dot Border Hot Foil Plate with Gold Hot Foil over Vanilla Woodgrain Card Stock. LOOOOOOOOVE it!
A few splatters and it’s done!
I hope you enjoyed our post for today!
