Moonlight Halloween Witch Silhouette
Hidy Ho Teaspoon Fans,
August 30, 2021. If you know anything about me, you KNOW how much I LOVE Halloween! We just got our new silhouette witch into the Teaspoon of Fun Shop and I couldn’t wait to use her! I changed up the Oxide background a little bit and used a spooky blue. I LOVE the way it came out!
Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
There is a lot of glitz on this card! It’s so adorable!!!!
For the witch and the Happy Halloween I used Black Diamond Sparkle Paper and Lemon-Lime Sparkle Paper. It was the perfect touch!
The Slimline Grass Set was used for the grass silhouette. I’m always telling you to use your slimlines on regular A2 cards and this is a perfect example.
Use your Stitched Nesting Circles and cut out a scrap circle. Attach this temporarily to your card with our Repositionable Dot Adhesive. Now burnish over with your blue Distress Oxide Ink (links for distress are below in the menu) using our Blending Brushes. I used Prize Ribbon and Weathered Wood. Remove the mask and burnish a little onto the moon leaving quite a bit of white. I sprayed one quick spritz of water onto the moon to give it those “cheezy” moon holes using our Mini Spritzer.
I framed the piece with the Stitched Nesting Retangles. Pop it up with the 3D Foam Strips BLACK. It’s a good idea to have both the BLACK and the WHITE 3D Foam Strips in your craft room.
