EZ Light Up Card Tutorial

Today Teaspoon of Fun is so excited to reveal our latest BRAND NEW CARD KIT.  It will “light up your day”!  This card kit is SO unique and so beautiful.  So what makes it unique?  You have the ingredients to make 5 cards.  One of those cards will LIGHT UP!!!!  Our new card kit is called Beacon Of Light and is in the shop now while supplies last.  Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today….

These little light mechanisms are so neat!

I used the Stitched Frames for the frame.

I actually used two of them (I used the two largest frames) and adhered them together with our Black 3D Foam Strips,

To create this gorgeous background, I used our Distress Oxide Ink Pads (I used Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon) with our Blending Brushes.  I did make a mask to cover up the light house and the cottages so they didn’t get colored!  I used our EZ Grand Tape Runner but I switched out the regular tape with the EZ Repositionable Dots Refill to temporarily adhere the cutout to the card layer.

For the clouds I used the white pencil from our Brilliantly Vibrant Watercolor Pencils.  I used the #6 Watercolor Brush and the Paw Palette or Flower Palette to blend the pencil color in.  The Bitti Birds were stamped with our Black Hybrid Ink Pad.

I used Copic Markers to color and my White Gel Pen to add accents.

Colors I used:

Cottages – E31, E33, E37, C1, C3, C5

Lighthouse – R000, R35, R39, RV99, C1, C3, C5

Rocks – C1, C3, C5

Grass – Y08,, YG13, G,94, G28

Water – BG10, BG13, BG75

So so pretty!

Beacon of Light Card Kit Combo
