Elegant Silver and White Poinsettia

Hidy Ho Teaspoon Fans,

November 18, 2021.  Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you an elegant white and silver poinsettia.  WOW! Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…

This card was so hard to photograph. It’s sooooo much prettier in person! 

Trust me!  What a gorgeous card!

Let’s talk about the Poinsettia’s.  They would look gorgeous just plain without all the bells and whistles but look at the plain on the left and the bells and whistles on the right!  How did we get that antiquing on the flower?  Take your Distress Embossing Pen and just rub it on the sides of the flower.  You don’t want it even, you want it to look shabby chic/vintage.  Then add your Detailed Silver Embossing Powder and hit it with your Heat Tool.  I did this before I put them together.

The Elegant Poinsettia  is absolutely gorgeous and has three different sized flowers in it as well as the insert for the flower and a leaf.  It’s gorgeous.  I paired this with our BRAND NEW Slim Confetti Plate.

To create the flowers I glued several layers together with our Deluxe Adhesive.  Before adhering them to the card, spritz them with the Iridescent Shimmer Spray to give it a little shimmer.  When that was dried, I used our Crease Tool to curl them and added them with a White 3D Foam Square.  I then ran the flower die through the die cut machine with our Silver Mirror Paper and cut them off for the leaves.  I only used the small and medium flowers in the set for this card.  For the centers I used our Silver Lining Prills and adhered them with our Crystal Glaze.

And for the Peace Cheshire Script  sentiment, I cut two layers of white and one layer of silver mirror to give it this gorgeous dimension!  It is so pretty in person!  

Here’s another card I did using the Elegant Poinsettia Die .  This is the largest and smallest flowers.
