This is a card I did directly onto the background not using the dies or the stamp.  VERY different from the one I did today.  I love this combo and so many options because of all the pieces.

Birthdays Filled with Sunshine and Smiles

1.  I started with a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of pink card stock and ran it through the die cutting machine using the Tulip Love Cover Plate.  This is a brand new cover plate in the shop and I’m in LOVE with it.  It’s just so pretty.  Use your Precision Glue Press to attach this to your card base.

2.  Stamp the Balloons from the Ribbons & Balloons Stamps/Die/Stencil Combo onto white card stock with Black Hybrid Ink. 

3.  Using your stencils from the Ribbons & Balloons Stamps/Die/Stencil Combo, StampWheel and  Low Tack Sticky Mat, lay your stamped image onto the mat.  Take your stencils, Mini Ink Blending Brushes and Distress Oxide Ink Pads and one stencil/color at a time, start to build your balloon bunch.  It’s soooooooo much fun.  

4.  Using the coordinating dies, cut out the balloons.

5.  Pop these onto your card base using Regular White Foam Squares and Micro White Foam Squares.  I just love popping up images from your base for the textures.

6.  I added some Wink of Stella on a few of the balloons to make them stand out.  

7.  Then add some Crystal Glaze to a few of the balloons.

8.  For the sentiment I used the Sunshine & Smiles Stamp and Die Combo.  I love this set. 

9.  Rub the Magic Anti-Static Brush onto your card stock (this helps to prevent embossing powder from going where you don’t want it to go).

10.  Ink up your sentiment with the WOW Embossing Pad and stamp it down where the powder is.

11.  Sprinkle on the Superfine Detailed Gold Embossing Powder and heat it with the Heat Tool.

12.  Pop that onto the card using Regular White Foam Squares.

13.  Add a little Moonlight White Brilliance Ink for the highlights.

Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
