Whittle Scary Guys on Halloween Night with Deb & Vicki
Scary Guys on Halloween Night
Hidy Ho Teaspoon Fans,
Happy Halloween!!! Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing a whittle scary Halloween card. It’s so stinken cute and we are using one of our new edger dies. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today…
Create A Scene – Forest Stamp Set
NEW – Background Basics Stencil Set
Colors I used: Squeezed Lemonade, Ripe Persimmon, Vintage Photo, Black Soot
The Spooky Edger Die Set is another in our series of “edger” dies. It’s sooooo cute! I cut it out with a layer and popped it up to give the moon behind it some depth. It allowed a pocket for these ghosts to fly out of!!!
It has a coordinating stamp set called Halloween Builder. Use your StampWheel and our Black Hybrid Ink Pad to achieve this adorable sentiment.
We have a new set of stencils in the shop. Our NEW – Background Basics Stencil Set is so unique. It takes all the guess work out of stenciling shapes. Just pick the stencil you want and burnish either around it or in the middle of it depending on which stencil you pick to use.
NEW – Background Basics Stencil Set each one of these stencils also has the cut-outs to use. I used the smallest circle for the moon on this piece. THIS IS A MUST HAVE set for your stamp room.
Use your Distress Oxide and Blending Brushes with the circle stencil and burnish around to achieve a full moon for our Halloween piece. Take the stencil off and burnish a few clouds within the circle.
I used our brand new Black Glossy Card Stock for the sentiment layer and for the spooky words. Before you add the sentiment and the spooky words, burnish the background with your Distress Oxide and Blending Brushes.
Use the trees from the Create A Scene – Forest Stamp Set and our Black Hybrid Ink to get the color. Cut out the Whittle Scary Guys from black cardstock and cover them with Crystal Glaze to give them a RAISED and glossy look.
Add a few Mini Bats and some Autumn Fairy Jewels to finish off the card. SOOOO CUTE!

Did you notice that some of the edgers have a large base, some are cut on a diagonal and some are very small. You can do what fits the need of your card. Some have pictures on the bottom, some have larger stamped images on the top. Adjust the height of your edger. SOOOOOOO many options!
