December 14, 2020. This December Deal of the Day is called “Snowman Charm Deal #14” and charming he is. Today’s deal of the day is this darling COMBO (work all done for you kind of die and we paired it with an equally adorable sentiment). All products can be found in our Teaspoon of Fun Shoppe.

Let’s take a look at our “Snowman Charm Deal #14″. The visual tutorial is below! This die is SOOOO Unique!
And I added our little sentiment to the inside which is part of the Snowman Charm COMBO.
I also used our Blurry Flurries 6 x 6 Paper Pack. It’s another GORGEOUS addition to our paper lineup!
It’s all double-sided!
The birds are from our Forest Majesty Die
I colored the snowman pieceswith Copic Markers (all links are below)
Hat, Buttons and Eyes: N1, N10
Shading Snowdrifts: N1, N5
Nose: YR04, R59
Arms: E74
Scarf: BV00, BV04, BV08
Then I went over all the gray shading with
Sliver Mist from our Midnight Shadows Glitter Marker
I also used Distress Oxide Ink on the background (all links below)
I used Chipped Sapphire.
Then splattered using:
some water from our Silicone Dispenser
and using one of our two Palettes:
Watercolor Well OR Watercolor Palette Paw
TUTORIAL:
The first thing you want to do is to center and cut your snowman from a piece of our Marshmellow Fluff card stock that measures 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″. BUT!!!!!! DON’T throw away the cutout!!!! That’s everyone’s biggest mistake. You are going to use BOTH pieces of this snowman! How fun is that?!!!! That’s what makes this die-cut so unique! That cutout is VITAL! (you CAN use it without it to show what’s underneath but you can also use it as we have here)!
Now you want to rip a scrap piece of paper for your snow. Lay it over your snowman and burnish your Chipped Sapphire all round using our blending brushes. You can make a mask to cover your snowman also or just be very carful not to get it on his face. Burnish that color in starting at the corners and lighter pressure as you get closer to him giving him a halo around his head.
You also DO NOT want to discard the eyes and nose! Put them on a piece of your Sticky Note Tape Roll. I colored it with my Copic Markers (colors listed above). Also color his hat, scarf and outline his frame with the grays.
Now add your White Foam Tape. MAKE SURE YOU COVER HIS EYES AND NOSE (see picture above) on the backside of the layer so you have one sticky side on the front side of the layer and sticky side on the back side of the layer.
Now take your Jewel Picker and carefully place the colored eyes and nose into the appropriate spots! Take off the rest of the Foam Tape coverings and add that to your paper layer then add that to your card base.
And don’t forget to add your little birds from the Forest Majesty Die Set!
They are the perfect size and remind me of the birds from Sound of Music!
Complete the inside with your saying layer and you are DONE! So cute! What did you think?
