Friends are special

Hidy HoTeaspoon Fans,

January 5, 2021.  We have another slimline card (aren’t you just in love with these?!)  This one is called Friends are Special.  Isn’t that so true.  I made the second card for a good friend that just had her birthday!  She is a dear and very special friend to me.  Always in my heart. 

Remember, it doesn’t have to be hard, it doesn’t have to be complicated, just fun and thoughtful.  All products can be found in our Teaspoon of Fun Shoppe.

To color the background I used three colors of Distress Oxide

(Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Salty Ocean)

Watercolor Well Palette   or   Watercolor Palette Paw

Then for the grass, I added the Hill & Valley and Little Turf Grass Combo

I’m in love with slimline cards, they are no harder to make and when following the guidelines of a regular sized card, it costs no more to mail.  These two cards are so different in looks but are so similar in other ways.  I’ve also used my watercolor pencils on these Anita Jeram stamp sets.  They are so heartwarming!  Give it a try!
