Lucky To Have You Friend
Hidy Ho Teaspoon Fans,
Today Teaspoon of Fun is bringing you a beautiful NEW Friend Edger Die we have in the shop. Our newest edger dies have coordinating stamp sets to complement them. This one is called Friend Builder Sentiments. It’s like peanut butter and jelly – they were just made to go together! I’ve paired it with some of our new plates also in the shop. Let’s take a look at what I picked for you today …
Copic Markers – I used Y21 and Y26 for a little shadow on the flowers
Prills – I used Taken For Granite
I use these two plates together all the time. I just LOVE both of them. The Lattice Plate is used at the base plate and the Gilded Plate is used as the decorative plate. They are GORGEOUS together!!! I also used our BRAND NEW Double Sided Tissue Tape on the Gilded Plate to make it soooooo much easier to adhere to the Lattice Plate. I adhere it to my card stock FIRST then run it through my die cutting machine. It works AMAZING on intricate dies! It’s double sided tape on steroids :0). To adhere these two layers to my card base I used our amazing White 3D Foam Strips.
Here’s another card I did using those two plates together.

Just changing up the colors really makes this new and fresh every time.
This Friend Edger Die is gorgeous. I cut the green layer first. With Edger Dies you decide how much of the base to show (you can cut it larger or smaller as I did here). I wanted to give it the look of grass at the bottom of the flowers. I cut the word “friend” three times and layered with Deluxe Adhesive.
I used our STAMPWHEEL , our Hybrid Black Ink and the coordinating Friend Builder Sentiments for this card. Our newest edger dies have coordinating stamp sets to complement them. It’s like peanut butter and jelly – they were just made to go together! To adhere this “friend” layer to my card base I used our White Crafty Foam Tape.
For this card I used our Burst Of Blooms die. It’s new in the shop and I’m really in love with it. I cut the whole thing out two times. Once with green card stock and once with the yellow card stock. Then I cut the flowers off the yellow one and adhered them to the stems over the green flowers using our Deluxe Adhesive. You don’t have to color anything with Copic Markers but I wanted to give a little shadowing for the middle so I used a little Y21 and Y26.
For the centers of the flowers I used our Crystal Glaze to adhere the Prills (I used Taken For Granite) Make sure you have a Craft Spoon it is so much easier to work with your Prills.
This is one of my favorite cards in this series! It’s such a beautiful card.
