Florida Flamingo Summer Is Back

Let’s start with the background.  It’s such a “splash” of fun!  Take a piece of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ white card stock and drop some Distress Oxide Re-Inkers on it.  Do one color at a time, drop the color then blow it with the Special Straw.  It is so much fun.  Then do the next color.  (Only do ONE color at a time.)  When it’s dry, take the Double Scalloped Stitched Frames and cut out the largest frame (It actually cuts three pieces and you will use all three pieces.)  This is one of my most favorite nesting dies!  LOVE IT!  Use the White 3D Foam Strips for the largest frame, then use the White Thin Foam Squares for the next layer and for the inside piece use your Precision Glue Press.  It’s the kaleidoscope technique.

Next using your Stampwheel and Stampendable, stamp the three flamingos and both flowers from the Flamingo Summer Combo set with our Black Hybrid Ink Pad. Color with your Copic Markers using the colors listed above.  For the white highlight on the nose I used our Luma Bleed-Proof White and our #1 Watercolor Brush.  For the sun glasses, I added some dots using our White Gel Pen.

Attach the flamingos and the flowers with our White Regular Foam Squares.

Glitz them up with our Bright Fairy Jewels.

Black Happy Birthday Foil Greetings Tabs are new in the shop and I’m in LOVE with them!!!  Pre-foiled and thick card stock! We have so many to choose from.  The one I used has 40 Black greeting tabs gold foiled “Happy Birthday”. 4 each of 10 designs.  1.75 x 0.25 inch each tab.  To find all we have, type in “Greeting Tabs” in the search box.  They are pre-foiled and a thick stock.  I added them to the card with our Precision Glue Press.

Add your card to one of our A2 White or A2 Cream Envelopes and mail it off to your dear friend.
